The questions people ask first
- Do my files get uploaded?
- No. Every tool runs inside your browser tab. Open the network panel while you work and you will see no request carrying your file — or disconnect from the internet and keep going.
- Is it free, and is there a catch?
- Free, with no account, no tier and no document counter. There is no per-file server cost to recover, because your device does the work. A tip jar is the whole business model.
- Will it add a watermark?
- Never. The only watermark in an export is one you added yourself with the watermark tool.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once you install it as an app. Processing never needed our servers, so losing the network changes nothing.
