How to extract pages from a PDF
Published 26 Sept 2026 · Sumit · Workflows
Extracting pages creates a new file with the pages you choose and leaves the original alone until you replace it. Useful for sending an appendix, a single form, or a chapter without the full document.
Processing stays in the browser. Prefer Extract when you have a keep-list; prefer Delete pages when you have a short remove-list.
Step by step
- 1Open Extract pages and load your PDF.
- 2Select the pages to keep.
- 3Extract and download the new PDF.
- 4Open the download and confirm page count and content.
Extract vs split vs delete
Extract: keep a selection in a new file. Split: range or one-file-per-page. Delete: remove specific pages and download what remains.
Pick the verb that matches how you think about the job — fewer mistakes, fewer re-runs.
Limits
- You need at least one page in the output.
- Unlock password-protected files first.
- Interactive features may not fully carry over.
