About this tool

Run Confidential Send or Email Ready in one local pass — on one PDF or a batch (zip download). Chain scan/redact PII, strip metadata, watermark, and encrypt without uploading between steps.

Download a privacy receipt with hashes. PII detection is pattern-based; always review before sharing.

How to use Confidential Send

  1. 1Drop one or many unlocked PDFs (up to 20).
  2. 2Pick Confidential Send or Email Ready; toggle steps as needed.
  3. 3Enter a password if encrypt is on, run, review, then download the PDF or zip (and optional privacy receipt).

You need

  • One or more unlocked PDFs
  • Open password if encrypt is enabled

Frequently asked questions

  • What does Confidential Send do?
It chains local steps in one pass: optional PII scan/redact, metadata strip, CONFIDENTIAL watermark, and encrypt (encrypt always runs last when enabled). Email Ready compresses, adds page numbers, and strips metadata instead.
  • Can I batch multiple PDFs?
Yes — up to 20 unlocked PDFs. Successful outputs download as a zip, and each file can include a privacy receipt JSON.
  • Does Confidential Send upload my files?
No. Every step runs in your browser. You can download a privacy receipt with SHA-256 hashes to document that processing stayed local.
  • Is PII redaction a guarantee?
No. Detection is pattern-based (emails, phones, cards, and similar). Always review the output — and use manual Redact for anything the scanner misses.
