Compare PDFs extracts text from two versions and shows differences per page. It is useful for spotting wording changes in contracts or proposals.
It is not a pixel-perfect visual diff and not a certified legal redline. Scanned pages need OCR first or there is little text to compare.
Step by step
- 1Unlock both PDFs if needed. OCR scans so text exists.
- 2Open Compare PDFs and load version A and version B.
- 3Run compare and review per-page text differences.
- 4Confirm important clauses manually — do not rely on diff alone for signing.
What you should not expect
Moved images, layout-only changes, and scanned handwriting will not compare well. For those, human visual review is still required.
